• Comment: Coupled computation of the LDL concentration distribution in arterial lumen and arterial wall. The transport in the two domains (lumen and wall) is coupled by the flux through a membrans (endothelium) that separates the domains. The modelling of the mass transport in lumen and wall uses the advection-diffusion-reaction equation, the flux through the membrane in described by the Kedim-Katchalsky equations. The convective transport field is approimated by analytical solutions.
