• Comment: Restriction of the pulmonary artery for complex congenital heart defect. Comparison of the flow fields between the Flowatch device and circular banding. Quasi-stationary flow field (Re=500).The computational results demonstrate that the complex flow patterns occur downstream the non-axisymmetric FloWatch constriction. The results also demonstrate that the pressure drop accross the banding mainly depends on the cross sectional area and not on the shape of the banding.
